Yael is a committed professional with a strong background in policy advising, public diplomacy, and digital communication. Her work is deeply driven by her passion for the Jewish community, international relations, and cultural diversity, shaped by her unique Jewish and Latina heritage.
She served as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Consulate General of Israel in New York, where she led engagement efforts with federal and state officials and provided strategic analysis on international political issues. Previously, she worked in digital diplomacy at the Consulate of Israel to the Midwest, where she built and led successful social media strategies across platforms.
Yael holds a degree in Political Science and Government from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya), where she received the Sprinzak Prize and participated in the Rabin Leadership Program, focusing on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. She also completed focused studies in American Government and International Security at Syracuse University.
As the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, Yael feels a profound responsibility to educate others about Jewish history and identity. Her greatest source of inspiration is her grandmother, Leah Goldberg, a survivor of the Lodz Ghetto, multiple concentration camps, and Auschwitz, where she endured Dr. Mengele’s experiments. More recently, Yael has found deep inspiration in Rachel Goldberg-Polin, who became a powerful advocate for the release of hostages during the 2023 Israel–Hamas conflict after the abduction of her son.
Yael is married to Ran and is a proud new mother. Her commitment to Jewish education is rooted in legacy, conviction, and the belief in the transformative power of memory and connection.
