Policies & Procedures

The Teaching Policy and Procedures document (available for download here) outlines the Melton Centre’s teaching policies and the procedures relevant to a distance-learning program. These policies were established by the Melton Centre’s Teaching Committee and align with the Teaching and Learning Policy and Procedures of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The document is designed to clarify the main academic and administrative procedures that apply to all students enrolled in the International M.A. in Education, Blended Program specializing in Jewish Education.
Cases not covered in the document, as well as exceptional situations—whether affecting individual students or groups—are reviewed by the Melton Centre Teaching Committee. When necessary, cases are referred to the Chair of the University Committee for Teaching and Learning Policy and Procedures (Va’adat Nahal), who also serves as the arbiter for appeals.
