Registration for the M.A. is conditional upon submission of all of the following and meeting all admission requirements:

• Official academic records and B.A. diploma from an institution recognized by Hebrew University, with a grade average of at least 80 or its equivalent. For those applicants whose universities use other point averages systems, the Admissions Office will evaluate each case and determine the grade equivalencies.

• Statement of purpose: 300-500 words in English detailing why you are interested in this program, your academic and professional goals and how you see the program helping your future.

• Professional resume or C.V.

• Two letters of recommendation from academic scholars or educational institutions.

• English proficiency certificate (for students whose mother tongue is not English): TOEFL IBT certificate (80 points or higher), or IELTS certificate (6 points or higher).

Candidates with insufficient academic background in Jewish Studies and/or Education may be required to take additional prerequisite courses; the academic committee will evaluate each case individually and inform each student.
