The Melton Centre for Jewish Education offers grants to European Jewish educators to support their advanced professional development through participation in graduate programs in Jewish Education.

The Centre provides fellowships to qualified candidates participating in the Hebrew University International Masters program of the Melton Centre for Jewish Education in the Seymour Fox School of Education. Successful applicants will receive a tuition scholarship of between 10 to 25%.

The number of Fellowships is limited, and they will be awarded competitively, reflecting the high standards of the Melton Centre. These awards are based upon the applicants' academic and professional record, adding a sense of challenge and motivation to the application process.

To be eligible for the Fellowship, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  1. They must have completed their undergraduate studies at least five years before starting the Masters program.
  2. The average in undergraduate studies is at least 82.
  3. They must have been a professional serving the Jewish community for at least 3 years before beginning their studies in the Blended Learning Masters program.
  4. They must work for at least 15 hours per week at a Jewish institution in Europe while studying in the Masters program.
  5. Recipients of the Fellowship must continue to meet the above conditions throughout their studies.
